i think its easier if i go in reverse chronological order. today was ora, and i took part in the soccer tournament with a team comprising myself, shikai, kieran and jonwong, along with amit, the last min replacement for max who fell sick. i played quite badly in general, the rustiness from not playing for a month showing, and though i guess i pissed jon off quite often (heh its not everyday i'm playing with an ex-comb schools football player!), all in all i'm quite sure everyone had fun.
okay its not easier this way, i'll go by categories instead.
class then. i've been reading some (okay its only one) of my classmates' blogs. while she claims 'Although 10A01F does make for lovely company in school

let me break down my class dynamics. there are 6 girls from The Table (actually there sphere of influence reach 3 tables, but argh screw la), the high-profile ones, surrounded by the who's who of rj all the time. then there are my good frens that i made eons ago, in kenneth and clarence (when he's around). the other 9, shall i say, on the record, that they're the most uncool group of people you can find in the school.
individually, they're all nice people and everything. always willing to help. but there's something repulsive about them as a whole that makes me not want to hang out with them. i feel very uncomfortable when i'm with them, like its sort of degrading, for want of a better word (and company). i am of the belief that my class will never be really bonded, because of the 6 girls who do not wish to spend quality time together as a class bonding, rather spending their precious time with the who's who of the school at The Table.
but i can see where they are coming from. though the ppl from A01F are my classmates, why would i hang out with the most uncool group of people you can find, when i get to hang out with the coolest and hottest people in school? and if even i find them uncool and not fit for company, let alone them.
the only way to make those 6 come together and interact with the class is to show them how it will benefit their psychological and mental well-being to interact with the class more, though showing them how the class is cooler than The Table, which i assure you from my 4K experience is perfectly possible. but possible does not equate to probable, and since class bonding isnt probable, i do not see the need to force myself to hang out with my class for the sake of solidarity, especially when its so miserable to do so sometimes.
