a lot of things happened today. A LOT.

i shall tell them in chronological order. i went to school late, on purpose. i purposely slept longer. so when i met thom, first thing he told me was our draws for interclass football, namely 3F, 3M & 3Q. and when i looked at the other classes, my worst fears were confirmed: we are in the group of death.

our first match is against 3F. this we have to win, because it is the weakest team of the grp. we only have to fear daniel lim, because he is a very good player. a bit on the plump side, but his technical ability is superb, thou inferior to jie hao in this aspect, yet a much more intelligent player, thus greater danger. i believe their team revolves around him thus the key to winning this game is to contain him completely, maybe ask koonz to rough him up a bit once or twice early in the game.

our second match is against 3Q. i'm not too sure whether 3Q or 3M is stronger, but i believe they are both technically superior to our team. the strength of 3Q lies in their foward line, with varun and the vietnamese rocket leading the line. during training, i'm abt as fast as varun, maybe slightly slower, but his speed on the ball is definitely faster than mine. as for the vietnamnese rocket, as the name implies, he's as fast as a rocket and shoots like a rocket,which is quite scary. i will definitely need all my experience and ability to stop him. obviously, the key to winning this game is to stop the ball from getting to these two strikers. if u cant stop them, stop the ball from getting to them.

our final group match is against 3M. yet again, the danger lies in their foward line of alimi, said and nick. as there are 3, it is not possible to double team them all, all we would be playing with 6 defenders. therefore, the key would be to play deep, with the whole team behind the ball. not giving them the space to run. the key is to stay compact, not give them space to shoot and run.

after knowing the draw, i know later from martina ong that i'm a psl. woots! means i get to know sec1s and lead them and make them greet me. lol. i'm not THAT evil. but i shall put this to the back of my head for now because...

i've to go training tmr. slim wouldn't let me pon training of interclass. so i wld play 45mins of soccer, before going macr for a run of say, 10km? best. he told me training is more impt than interclass and therefore training overrules interclass. i noe that, but interclass is more urgent. if i dun play i wld be letting my class down and i don't want to do that. so i shall be a john terry, and train through the pain barrier later at 5pm.

later on the way on the train home, shoujian called me to say he cannot play tmr because he's tennis coach don't allow him to, fearing he gets injured. i believe this is uncalled for because shoujian has been playing soccer very regularly and the risk of injury is always there. does it mean because it is interclass the risk of injury is greater? to a small extent.

later i talked to kieran and he said he injured himself by falling down on the astroturf while playing today. didn't thom, timo, lian, jarrell and daniel all tell him and hernwei not to play today? it would be real sad if they injure themselves today and cannot play properly tomorrow. luckily kieran said he still can play tmr.

the latest update i get however, is that the two tennis players in 3Q (including the vietnamnese rocket) are going to defy orders and play. so in this situation, we have a win-win situation. either these two play and shoujian plays, which means it makes no diff, or these 2 dun play and shoujian dun play either, meaning we gain. i wld gladly sacrifice shoujian for the absence of the vietnamnese rocket, if he's half as good as they say he is.

i have also received the latest reports on the fitness and morale of our team. timo, who is already sick, went for softball training today, did pt, and now feels like shit. thom, who said he wld slack today, did softball pt and is now on his deathbed. jonlian is feeling emo and depressed now because he thinks he sucks because we say he sucks, so now he says he's not going to play tomorrow even if we ask him to. great. all this shit the day before interclass. this is really uncalled for.

as you can see, only TAN KOON CHONG is in a state to play because he's ready to tackle and own people and send them to the hospital. As in like, tomorrow's his big day to show the world how hardcore he is.

also, JONATHAN LIAN is obviously depressed and is in a state more suitable for a funeral than a football competition.

you know, i was very nervous before this. i was worried i would get owned and let the team down. until i told myself to believe in my own abilities and concentrate in my own game. it was then that i felt real confident that no one would get pass me and theodore. that was however, before i heard this shit news about the whole team. we are imploding, guys. this should NOT be happening in the harmonious world of 3K'2007. i mean, we are among the last class that would collapse because of this shit. apparently that's not the case. now i've to worry as to what would happen should shoujian and timo cannot play tmr. damn it.

in short, as much as i don't want to admit it, the football team of 3K'07 is GGXXED.
