so man utd is going to sign nani, anderson and hargreaves. while these may be quality players, i do not understand the rationale behind the transfers. first, hargreaves. where the hell is he going to play? the roy keane role. yes, and what about 14mil man carrick? into the reserves. you spend 14mil on a not-so-good player, then after 1 season, buy someone better but more expensive and dump the former into the reserves. sounds like they got too much money. in case you are thinking, they cannot play together, at least in the current formation. cause scholes is indispensable, add these 2 jokers, you get a 3 man midfield. then the formation will be 4-3-3, which you might remember failed miserably the last time round. also, i highly doubt hargreaves' ability to adapt immediately into the english game. he may be english, but he has never played in the epl b4. all he did was flop around in the bundesliga.

next, nani. i do not have much to say about him, since i have not even seen him play. they say he's a carbon copy of ronaldo. meaning, he is a diver, showboater and winker, complete with the colourful flash which is without substance. all this for 10+mil. he might need a season or 2 b4 he really plays well, like ronaldo. however, with a guo lai ren in the form of ronaldo, this showboater might be led to see the light by the ex-showboater.
