in short, in relevance to today's talk on safety on the internet aka the pitfalls of watching porn, these are the chracteristics and profile of a porn addict. he is so addicted to porn he skips school to pursue his wildest fantasies that the mundane school life simply cannot offer. moreover, we also have to explore the possibilities that he has at his command at home. just how much things can you do at home if you are completely physically and socially cut off from the outside world? just how many different things can you do at home in such a long period of time, in times of loneliness and despair, that you eventually turn to porn?
he looks like a sheet of white paper because he stays indoor so much to watch porn that sunlight is as alien to him as Mars. and his unkempt appearance further coorobrates the point that his addiction is a tad beyond what we call casual teenage yearnings, that he is glued to his computer so much he really cannot be bothered what the world thinks of him.
morever, this subject/object/anything but a human has known self-esteem issues. he is unusually weak, has a haircut shaped like that of a japanese watermeleon, has problems interacting even with the friendlies of people ie. teletubbies, an escapist with a capital ass. he has problems assimilating into normal society, and struggles to live up to the benchmarks of what society defines as cool. as such, it is highly plausible that he believes that watching porn is cool and manly and would be of a great help to both his testoterone level and self-esteem.
the last thing is that he's a known watcher of hentai as confessed last year but alledged to have quit doing so because he got bored of it. Now, from contextual knowledge, I know that it is the way serial porn addicts behave, they are so accustomed to soft porn ie. hentai, they do not get aroused by it any longer and they move on to harder material ie. real porn. this is also inline with what the school counselor said today, about the four phases of porn addiction, in which this stage is called desensitivitation.
however, a flaw in this is that the subject/object/anything but a human could have been lying, to fit in into what he perceives as what society perceives as cool, with him working on the assumption that to be a cool guy you have to watch porn. but this point further supports my previous point of him possessing a low self-esteem, forcing him to adopt measures which he believes will place him in the rank of coolness by watching porn.
in conclusion, all the evidence points to the fact that the subject/object/anything but a human is a porn addict. the only thing this essay has stopped short of doing is actually catching him in the act. i saw a person today that exactly fits this description. you know him. i know him. we know him.
