i feel like ranting now. that's all i feel like doing.

i'm like supposed to be sick and resting at home. which is what i'm doing. since monday i have a blocked nose, causing myself nights of untold agony, which also means that i can't sleep. in a bid to solve the aforementioned problem, i spammed vicks and sinupret, a medicine which is supposed to cure runny noses and not make you drowsy, which i swear doesn't work. to get cured from runny nose is to eat the drowsy medicine and go to sleep. yes, sleep and not play dota, fm or watch pirates. so your day off's as good as wasted sleeping.

just now when i went to see the doctor, i locked myself out of the house. oh my god i still dun noe how i did it. i unlocked the front gate, went out of the house and relocked the front gate. at this point i realised i had commited the all-too-familiar mr bean sin of locking oneself out of his own house. damn it. so after i saw the doctor, i walked for 15mins to kranji camp where my mother works and collected the keys from her, while getting my deserved chiding for such idiocracy (i dun noe what dat means, just felt like using the word, and im too lazy to check).

today is like the second time i went to the doctor in 1 week. i last went like last week, for similar symptons as well. shit, in all i contributed like $70+ to the doctor's coffers. oh well, what can i do, i need the freaking mc, dun i?

as i mentioned earlier, sleeping hasn't been an enjoyable experience at all for the past 2 days. maybe you shld try sleeping when your nose feels like there is a plunger stuck in it, causing you to breathe through your mouth like you are suffocating. then yesterday i kept having this wierd dream when i sleep about me and some other people zooming around at such high speeds that it started to feel nauseating. come to think of it, i cant really remember. all i noe is that the experience kinda sucked big time.

marcus lee is out of css2, and according some teachers are quite happy about it. oh, let's use mr glenn lee vertuz ker ling as an example. the impression he gives me is that he sorts of detests mr superstar marcus lee. why? oh, just for the apparently hao lian way that marcus lee struts around with his long hair, like he owns the place. now that he's out, vertuz would surely be happy that marcus lee would hv to cut his hair. if you ask me, i wld say vertuz's jealous.

and from the insider information i get from my mother, i would say the some teachers dun really support him, and that the majority of the school dun support him enough. my mother noes a certain ri music teacher's father/mother (not too sure) from her office. anyway, the feedback the music teacher gives her parent who in turn gives my mom is that the teachers are all very sarcastic and full of spite, like in their little tea-time talks they go like, "oh, you mean marcus lee is not out yet? he's still in?" surely teachers should treat their students better and support them better.

as such, i believe that marcus lee being from ri, has brought about his downfall rather than helped him. you can see how fanatical the nhs are in supporting their schoolmates, both teachers and students alike. teachers from nhs often go down to support their students. ri? zilch, zero, kosong, none, etc. not only they dun support him, they make sarcastic remarks about him, "oh he's not yet out?", etc. the student body is no different. you can hear the difference in cheering volume for him during the shows. marcus lee's support is always so soft, as compared to the nhs supporters. its not a matter of numbers, for all contestants are given an equal number of tickets. it's a matter of passion and pride in your fellow schoolmate. where is the rafflesian spirit when you need it? so much for our so-called excellence in compeititions and the support off it. had marcus lee been in a nhs, i'm very sure it would be he whom will be in the finals instead of benjamin. ri has been such a letdown, and i'm sure marcus would be pissed at the lack of support for himself. he had done his part by singing his all, only to be let down by his elitist and elite schoolmates.

last saturday's training was damn screwed also. i started too fast, and after 4km my quads were aching like siao. i couldn't even move my legs, and the distance completed was not even halfway. admittedly, this was my first long run in like 3 months. but then again, the last time i did my long run 3 months ago, i also felt the same problem.i dunno what's the problem. i feel fresh and energetic aerobically but physically i felt weak and tired. this has got to stop or my season would be damn screwed.

i made the choice a week ago to skip con camp and go for teh overseas immersion programme. con camp is the highlight of 9 years of cat classes and would be the last big thing before getting confirmed. but this oip thing has been what i've been looking foward too since last year, when weiwen and kml and chriskwan went to wuhan. now my chance is here to go but at the expense at con camp, which i am also in a way looking forward to going, as its the conclusion to my confirmation process. but going for the oip is my only chance to go overseas with my school before my ri life comes to an end, and it also gives me 50 cip hours, which is much more than what i have now.

so having made that decision, i can now keep my fingers crossed that i get to go where i want to go. i put china as my first choice, which i think lots of people have also done so. cheese wants to go to changchun, which is somewhere near north korea and harbin. meaning its freaking cold. the temperature there in november is between -8 to 2 deg cel. cheese wants to go there and see snow, something which i have done so for many times already.

sometimes i dun really appreciate how fortunate i am. to me, seeing snow is like nothing, having experienced it many times already. but to cheese, it may mean a lot, for the closest thing to snow he has seen is snow city. and not just for him, but for many others as well. my parents are not wealthy, but they make it a point to scimp and save just so we can go on annual holidays and see things like snow. they do not want us to blame them for not taking us for holidays so they try to their best of their abilities to bring us to places we never been to. compared to many others i am very fortunate.

i shall end my blogpost here. i dun noe what else too write. i'm too tired from writing le. i need my rest.
